Learnings

Drama. lies. tears,..... teenage years

'Aadiko Manoram Nritya'

The drama named 'Aadiko Manoram Nritya' was my first live drama which was presented to the students of grade 8, 9 and 10. The drama was based on the daily struggles of the adolescents. Therefore, the drama was based on us, students who are going through a very new and strange journey of struggles and dilemma.

The drama showed how a student grows up with friends which may lead to a wrong path which is just the beginning of the troubles. The troubles continue as students enter adolescence where they have mixed emotions and mood swings ever once a while. They feel the pressure of studies and the worries of nobody understanding extremely as this age and might turn depressed and inclined towards gadgets and drugs. And how they gradually spoil their life.

The drama was extremely related to me because the pressure of struggles come to me a lot. Also I am extremely lazy and spend a lot of time sleeping and listening to music. I also know people who have spoiled their future by getting in a bad company. Many have family problems. The drama had a lot to teach. It showed where we're actually at fault and also where our parents were. It showed why students turn out to be depressed at this stage and how the pressure eats them up. I've learnt to be able to know where we should be careful and when to pay extra attention. We should make friends whom we can trust. We should open to our family if not then our friends. We should avoid bad company and know who to be friends with and open up. The so-called 'pressure of studies' should be taken positively so should our extra caring parents be as its for our bright future. We should know that the 'love' at this age cannot be carried on till the future as it wont last for being an expected guest with adolescence. We should control our temper as well as tell our guardians to understand our problems by opening up with them.

To me. the drama taught a lot and has a lot to teach to teens like us as we get lost as soon as we enter the new world of strange upcomings and invitation.

Tour to Dhading

For the first time when I heard that we are going tour tpo Dhading for 2 days I was so excited that when I reached my home I immediately asked permission to my father. He told me to go and he tell some interesting things about Dhading. After listening that I was so much excited and I was waiting for friday. Finally the day came on that day I woke up early in the morning and I went to my friend house. After that we went to school. At school most of the students have already arrived. We clicked some photos in school. We started our journey at 11:00 am. There were altogether 40 students and 4 teachers who were going. We sang a song and dance at bus. We eat samosa at bus. I have a lot of fun at bus. We reached there at 3:15.

After reaching the resort at nearly 4;30 we had our snacks. The food was not as great as expectations. Then after a 5 minute rest we went for a hike. That hike was the best. It didn't even gave me the feeling of exhaustiveness even for a minute. That hike was one of the best part of my trip. After a five minute walk there comes a bridge AKA jhulunge pul. In this bridge we almost spent half an hour or so.

The view from the bridge was over the top. The sound of the river accompanied by the chirps of the birds was the best thing that could happen. The photos that we took almost filled the storage capacity. The random poses and the random dance was so exciting and fun. The walk on the fields was so good.

It was one of my best and memorable part of my life which I never forget in my whole life. One who didn't go have missed the best part of their life with teachers and classmates.

The first nine days are called Navaratri (nine nights). During these days, people worship Durga, the Goddess of power. First day of Dashain is called Ghatasthapana. In this day we planted jamara at our home. After that comes the Fulpati. In this day I went the temple of goddess Durga with my family. At evening I enjoy a lot with my brothers and sisters by playing cards and eating delicious food. The eighth day of Dashain is called Asthami. On this day our family sacrifice a goat in temple. After that we did pooja of our vehicles. I helped my uncle in washing bikes. The tenth day of Dashain is called Bijaya Dashami which is the most important day in Nepalese history. In this we put tika from our elders and get a lot of blessings. This was my best day among all the days because in this day all the family members were together having a lot of fun. In this day I enjoyed a lot by putting tika from parents and grandparents. We clicked some photos while putting tika.

I have a lot of fun during Dashain time with all family members. It was so exciting and memorable experience in my life.
